00:00When Amit Ji works, a small scene is as important to him as a dramatic scene.
00:09I am still amazed why he has accepted a film with a newcomer like me.
00:14I think basically everybody around him is aware that he is a superstar except himself.
00:21What would you like to say to Amit Ji on his 25th Anniversary?
00:51It will be nice if he starts working again.
00:54This is not just my thought, but also of the public.
01:00You have worked with him a lot.
01:04How did you discover him as an actor or as a person?
01:09I am still amazed that when we signed Andha Kaanum, he was a superstar and I was a newcomer.
01:20I am still amazed why he has accepted a film with a newcomer like me.
01:27Anyway, I should say that I am lucky that he had accepted that film.
01:32Because while working with him, I got to learn a lot.
01:40Till then, I had acted in a lot of South Indian films.
01:47The first thing which strikes you when you meet him on the sets is that he is a perfectionist.
01:57Whatever he does, he does it with dedication.
02:01Our normal mentality is that if there is a small scene or a lighter scene, we think that it is a small scene.
02:10We don't have to put in much effort.
02:13But when Amit Ji works, even a small scene is as important as a dramatic scene.
02:22And the second thing which I have learnt from him is dubbing.
02:27Till I have seen him dubbing, I was under this impression that dubbing is just an extension of your acting.
02:37I never realised that you could improve in your dubbing.
02:41When I went to dub Andha Kaanum for the film, Amit Ji was already dubbing.
02:46And I got a chance to observe him.
02:50And I was amazed at the kind of modulation he was giving, the clarity he had.
02:56The improvement he was making there in front of the mic was amazing.
03:03If I am able to speak properly today or if I know what modulation is, it's thanks to him, I should say.
03:11And it's fun acting with him.
03:15It's a learning experience.
03:18When I work with him, I am an observer.
03:23So I enjoy observing him.
03:27When we work together, I think basically everybody around him is aware that he is a superstar except himself.
03:38He keeps making so much noise on the set.
03:42He keeps pulling everyone's leg and making everyone laugh.
03:45When he is on the set, the whole atmosphere is very lively.
03:50And he never ever made me or any other actor, for that matter.
03:57That's what they told me.
04:00He doesn't make anybody feel that I am a superstar or whatever it is.
04:07He is a very modest person.
04:10And he is a great actor.
04:13He is a great actor, I should say that.
04:15And I have really got an opportunity to work in just three films.
04:22I am happy that all those three films have done well and have been accepted by the public.
04:40As a person, how would you describe him?
04:51As a person, he is very soft-hearted.
04:56He is very soft-hearted, very warm, very compassionate.
05:01In that little time we have worked together,
05:07I have never seen him hurting anyone on purpose.
05:11He is very understanding.
05:13And any of his co-stars have any personal problems, he is always there to give advice.
05:20And as a person, he is very unique.
05:26Very practical.
05:30Doesn't get carried away very easily.
05:34Anybody else in his place, I think, would definitely get carried away.
05:38So, I think he is very, very family oriented.
05:43Family a lot and very religious too.
05:46I don't know much, but whatever I could observe, this is what I feel.
05:51And all that I can say is that
05:57I am glad that I got a chance to know, work and meet an enigma called Amitabh Bachchan.
06:27Amitabh Bachchan is a world-renowned philosopher.
06:31He has written a number of books, including a book titled,
06:34The Path to Enlightenment.
06:37He is a world-renowned philosopher.
06:40He has written a number of books, including a book titled,
06:43The Path to Enlightenment.
06:46He is a world-renowned philosopher.
06:49He is a world-renowned philosopher.
06:52He is a world-renowned philosopher.
06:55He is a world-renowned philosopher.
06:58He is a world-renowned philosopher.
07:01He is a world-renowned philosopher.
07:04Is there a song or a scene that you enjoyed with them?
07:09Is there a song or a scene that you enjoyed with them?
07:12For that matter, there is a song in Giriftaar film,
07:15Doop Mein Niklaana Karo Roop Ki Rani.
07:18Whenever I go abroad for shows,
07:21the moment they see me, they start singing that song.
07:25Actually, we completed that song in half a day,
07:28because there were some problems with the dates.
07:32We shot the whole song in half a day,
07:35but it has become so popular,
07:39and people liked the song a lot.
07:45That song is my favorite.
07:50That song is my favorite.
07:52That song is my favorite.
08:01Do you have any message for the audience?
08:05I would like to say that,
08:08as an actress,
08:10he had made me learn a lot of things in life.
08:16life. I've improved a lot as an actress because thanks to working with him.
08:22But as a person, yeh chahungi ki his well, may God give him good health, happiness to
08:35him and his family. And still looking forward to seeing him come onto the screen again because
08:43if you remember all those comedy scenes and all those dramatic scenes, I don't think
08:49there's even one human being in India, or for that matter, almost all over the world,
08:56who haven't enjoyed his presence. May be jabhi comedy scenes dekhtiye to, I've really enjoyed
09:03those jo peeke jo scenes kiye hain. It's real fun watching those scenes and all. And all
09:13that I want to say is I want to wish him all the best and hope if he starts working again,
09:20it'll be nice to see him on the screen again. Thank you so much, madam. Thank you.
