00:00The Shed Commission on Higher Education is investigating an out-of-town activity
00:08that has no evidence of any kind, and it has shocked its students.
00:14Christian Vascones is in the center of the news.
00:20This video was taken by a student while riding in a bus, and it seemed as if it was raining.
00:26After the bus was hit by a car, it looked like it was hit by an overheating machine.
00:31The bus was hit by a metallic road.
00:34The students were riding in a private school in Quezon City,
00:38which came from an activity that was done in a resort when they were young.
00:42Videos and pictures of students walking on a dark road went viral on social media
00:49after they were left behind at the resort.
00:51Because the buses were already full, many of them waited for up to six hours
00:59before the bus could return to Manila.
01:03Of the many students who joined, some were unable to avoid being hit and pushed.
01:09Some died while others injured their feet while walking for a long time.
01:17Some of those who posted said that they were forced to join this so-called off-campus activity.
01:24The local government of Quezon City immediately issued a statement
01:29and initiated the show-cause order of the private school to explain the situation.
01:35Ched Chairperson Dr. Prospero E. Rivera III denied that this activity was not authorized
01:43outside the campus and did not submit any documents to be studied.
01:48No statement has yet been issued by the head of the school about the issue it is facing.
