Victoria bushfires: Premier update 28th January 2025

00:00The fire situation as at this morning is that the community of Dimbula continues to have an evacuation

00:08notice on the community. There is an active fire right now and there is huge amount of resources

00:13going into keeping the community and property safe. The evacuation order was triggered last night

00:20and again I want to thank the community for responding and listening to the messages because

00:24that is how we can keep communities safe, we can keep each other safe and why as at this morning

00:30we can report that there is no loss of life but as we know sadly there is has been loss at the

00:36little desert nature park. The commissioner advised me that the main building and a number of cabins

00:42have been lost at that facility and until the fire threat passes and it's yet to pass

00:49we won't be able to get an update on any further property loss.
