00:00Comelec does not consider the possible release of the Supreme Court of the TRO

00:05in favor of the newly declared Nuisance candidates.

00:08Comelec explained that the ballot printing must be started

00:11so that the election will not be affected.

00:14I'm Angela Peñalosa of Radyo Pilipinas for Balita Ang Pambansang.

00:19On the website of the Commission on Elections,

00:22you can see the ballot phases that will be used for the 2025 midterm elections.

00:27That is why Comelec continues to print 72 million ballots

00:33after the next release of the TRO by the Supreme Court.

00:39And to reach the deadline of printing the ballots,

00:42Comelec machines have added more to the National Printing Office

00:47where 1.5 million are the target to be printed every day.

00:51Our timeline is still the same, we will still be ambitious on April 14

00:56to finish all the printed ballots.

00:59Even if we are delayed for three weeks,

01:02we will still do our best to print the ballots even at night.

01:08Even though the SC Commission is insisting,

01:10Comelec did not consider the possible release of the TRO by the Supreme Court

01:16in favor of Paul Baris in the ballot printing

01:19so that our fellow countrymen can avoid confusion in the upcoming election.

01:24Meanwhile, Comelec warned the candidates

01:27who are using songs or jingles

01:29that the composers do not have permission for their campaigns.

01:33They should either pay or be punished for this kind of irregularity.

01:39That is why we contacted the agency

01:42so that we can monitor and at the same time

01:46ask for the compensation of our artists

01:51to the candidates or political parties.

01:53In the end, when Comelec announces,

01:55they will do everything to make the election in the upcoming May.
