We visited the huge Robin Loxley art exhibition at Forge Warehouse, Sheffield

00:00Sheffield's answer to Banksy has run his latest art show in the city and smashes up cups and plates as part of the show.

00:08Visitors to the exhibition by Sheffield artist Robin Lopsey, whose real identity is a secret,

00:14are given the chance to shatter crockery as part of the art of the show at Forge Warehouse on Eppingham Road in the city.

00:22It's among 300 pieces of work of the exhibition which is to culminate with the burning of a Banksy.

00:28Clary Scott, who was working at the exhibition, told the star how the show,

00:32which also includes a moon landing set and an upside down room, had been going.

00:38How's the exhibition going here?

00:40It's been going really well. There's been a lot of interest. People are really enjoying it.

00:44It's really great because it's really interactive. There's these games, there's the 50p machine.

00:49It's been generating a lot of interest. People seem really keen on the artwork,

00:53especially the Sheffield-based ones, things like John Burkill and Jessica Ennis.

00:58People seem to really like the stuff that's related back to Sheffield, the Sheffield slang and stuff like that.

01:03The raffle's going really well. People seem really interested in the Kes photo that we've got.

01:07That's been really, really popular.

01:09What sort of people have been here for the exhibition?

01:12That's one of the great things. We've had a massive range of people from different ages, different backgrounds, different jobs.

01:19There's been no round more reasons for people that have come.

01:22It's been really interesting, actually, to see the perspective that different people have.

01:26It's also great because some of the artwork is only recognisable from an older generation,

01:31some of the pop art and some of the cartoons.

01:34Just hearing their opinion on it compared to younger people, it's been great.

01:39There's been a massive range of people that have come.

01:41There's something for everyone here, I think, and that's what's really good.

01:44For kids as well, I mean, there's some swear words, but there's some kid-focused art and it's really good.

01:53This is what some of the visitors thought of the exhibition.

01:58I think it's great. It's like when you go into Ikea but upside down, literally.

02:05That really is like going into the dream world.

02:09I think given everything like David Lynch at the moment and the impact that he's had on art,

02:15coming to something that's actually tangible that you can walk through and feel like it's real,

02:22it's not in your imagination, and then it can inspire you to think creatively about how this could inspire your art.

02:29And for me, I think the best part is they're going to be burning a bank, so.

02:39Yeah, it's great. There's a lot of nods to Sheffield icons and yeah, it's quite interesting.

02:48It's just kind of taking a swipe at pop culture in its own kind of ironic kind of way.

02:54Is it what you expected?

02:56Kind of, yeah. It's meant to be bizarre and yeah, it's kind of what it says on the tin.
