Sheffield's answer to Banksy has run his latest art show in the city and smashes up cups and plates as part of the show.
00:08
Visitors to the exhibition by Sheffield artist Robin Lopsey, whose real identity is a secret,
00:14
are given the chance to shatter crockery as part of the art of the show at Forge Warehouse on Eppingham Road in the city.
00:22
It's among 300 pieces of work of the exhibition which is to culminate with the burning of a Banksy.
00:28
Clary Scott, who was working at the exhibition, told the star how the show,
00:32
which also includes a moon landing set and an upside down room, had been going.
00:38
How's the exhibition going here?
00:40
It's been going really well. There's been a lot of interest. People are really enjoying it.
00:44
It's really great because it's really interactive. There's these games, there's the 50p machine.
00:49
It's been generating a lot of interest. People seem really keen on the artwork,
00:53
especially the Sheffield-based ones, things like John Burkill and Jessica Ennis.
00:58
People seem to really like the stuff that's related back to Sheffield, the Sheffield slang and stuff like that.
01:03
The raffle's going really well. People seem really interested in the Kes photo that we've got.
01:07
That's been really, really popular.
01:09
What sort of people have been here for the exhibition?
01:12
That's one of the great things. We've had a massive range of people from different ages, different backgrounds, different jobs.
01:19
There's been no round more reasons for people that have come.
01:22
It's been really interesting, actually, to see the perspective that different people have.
01:26
It's also great because some of the artwork is only recognisable from an older generation,
01:31
some of the pop art and some of the cartoons.
01:34
Just hearing their opinion on it compared to younger people, it's been great.
01:39
There's been a massive range of people that have come.
01:41
There's something for everyone here, I think, and that's what's really good.
01:44
For kids as well, I mean, there's some swear words, but there's some kid-focused art and it's really good.
01:53
This is what some of the visitors thought of the exhibition.
01:58
I think it's great. It's like when you go into Ikea but upside down, literally.
02:05
That really is like going into the dream world.
02:09
I think given everything like David Lynch at the moment and the impact that he's had on art,
02:15
coming to something that's actually tangible that you can walk through and feel like it's real,
02:22
it's not in your imagination, and then it can inspire you to think creatively about how this could inspire your art.
02:29
And for me, I think the best part is they're going to be burning a bank, so.
02:39
Yeah, it's great. There's a lot of nods to Sheffield icons and yeah, it's quite interesting.
02:48
It's just kind of taking a swipe at pop culture in its own kind of ironic kind of way.
02:54
Is it what you expected?
02:56
Kind of, yeah. It's meant to be bizarre and yeah, it's kind of what it says on the tin.
03:02
Yeah, it's exciting.
