00:00That was horrible.
00:30So a few weeks ago we thought it would be funny to put a £100 Hawaiian pizza up on
00:55our delivery menu.
00:57This was just a joke to begin with, but then it got picked up by our local RAG and it's
01:02sort of snowballed into an international news story, which has obviously been incredible
01:07for us, but very humbling at the same time.
01:37Well, so myself, Quinn and Felix, who are all co-owners here at Looper, we very much,
01:50I would say vehemently, dislike pineapple on pizza.
01:57We feel like it doesn't suit pizza at all and we're not really sure why it's a thing.
02:02Obviously there's lots of people who do like it and we have had requests for it in the
02:04past so we thought if people really, really want it then they should stick their hands
02:08in their pockets and fork out £100 for it.
02:34Well we have a security jar, which is locked away, far, far away, of tinned pineapple if
02:40someone does order the £100 pizza and we haven't sold any yet for obvious reasons.
03:01Hopefully somebody buys one, that would be great.
03:03But if they do, it will be worth their time, it won't just be £100 for a pizza, there
03:09will be goodies included.
03:33I think pineapple on pizza is wrong, it should not be done and 100% I won't pay for that.
03:41Because where would you put fruit on a savoury thing? It's just, it's not right.
03:48I would never pay £100 for any pizza ever, to be honest, but especially not for pineapple
03:55on pizza. I'm also actually Italian, from Naples, and we would never do that, to be honest.
04:03I just feel like it's pineapple, it's sour and then the texture difference is a bit funny,
04:09like I'm weird about textures, but yeah.
04:12I like pineapple, I mean it's not awful, it would probably be my second favourite under
04:17pepperoni, but I wouldn't pay £100 for it, definitely not, I don't think anyone will.
