Former White House communications director under President Donald Trump, Michael Dubke raises concerns that criminals may have easily crossed the border into the US.

00:00President Trump spoke to Fox News in an interview that was aired last night.

00:05He said that prisons from all over the world have been emptied out into our country.

00:10Is that really the case?

00:11I don't know if that is the case or if that's just a bit of hyperbole that prisons have been emptied out

00:18because, frankly, that implies that there's a coordinated effort by other nations

00:28to send the worst possible individuals to the United States through the southern border.

00:34But I will say this.

00:36There is a large concern that individuals that have committed crimes,

00:41and some of them violent crimes, have easily crossed over the border into the United States,

00:45and we have no idea where those individuals are.
