00:00The Department of Agriculture plans to work with major retail companies to expand the price of rice in the country.

00:10Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chu Laurel Jr. also helped the Supermarket, Grocery and Convenience Store

00:20and encouraged them to produce cheap rice in their area.

00:24According to Laurel, this is the right solution to stabilize the price of rice

00:30and it can be bought by Filipinos.

00:33Laurel is considering 3,200 retail outlets throughout the country,

00:38including big malls and supermarkets.

00:42This program will start in Metro Manila.
