00:00We're talking to Coach Young and now we're going to hit college. So I was looking at

00:03Lennarty's bracketology. I do Lennarty's, Palms, and DeCourcy's every week, look at their

00:11bracketology for the tournament and everything else. So I'm looking at this right now,

00:14his last four in are Pitt, Nebraska, UCF, and Indiana. The last team in is Indiana.

00:19And I got to tell you, their schedule the rest of the way is brutal. They have no impressive

00:25wins whatsoever, maybe one the entire season. I know they have 13 wins or whatever. That

00:33doesn't do anything for them either when you don't beat anyone that's good. I've seen their

00:37schedule. They're not winning these big heavyweight games that they're playing. Whenever they play

00:42anyone good, they get their ass beat. When they play average teams, I couldn't even believe they

00:46won in overtime in Columbus, to be honest with you. And I couldn't believe Ohio State won at

00:50Mackey in West Lafayette last night. But you were talking to me before the show, and you said,

00:59you talked to Goody, he thinks Woodson's out in Bloomington. What'll it be, their 15th coach

01:04since Bob Nye? They can't get it right. Well, they got it wrong. I talked about it during the

01:10commercial break two segments ago. They messed up. This whole thing of taking guys from the,

01:19we gotta take a guy from the family. We gotta take a guy from the, when has that worked? Patrick

02:00if they don't beat Maryland, they may not win the game until they play Penn State in the February,

02:05and I think Penn State's making the NCAA tournament. So where is the win? You wanna

02:11give the money to Omar Bob? That is absolute fail. Simply put, Goody's right. If they don't

02:17make the tournament, Mike Woodson will be, should be fired within 20 minutes of that last game.

02:25So the first four out, he's got Cincinnati, Texas, SMU, and Ohio State. Then Iowa, Xavier,

02:31VCU, and Penn State all out. I actually think of all those teams, Xavier to me, what they did,

02:38like they won at the 5-serve against Marquette. That's a heavyweight win.

02:43That's a heavyweight win, and they're playing good basketball. The thing about it is people

02:48just are continuing to not look at the biggies as being a good league or as a quality league.

02:54But that's a good win. I think 59-57, they won over Marquette. So they've done a good job. Sean

03:00Miller, listen. Another guy, got a lot of bad stuff. Sean Miller can coach. I mean,

03:05Sean Miller can coach. And he kind of did something interesting where he kind of went

03:11and said there's tears to this in regards to refereeing and stuff. They're a team to watch

03:16out for in the biggies. I still think right now, Farrell, the best team in the biggies, ready?

03:21St. John's. You know this. If St. John's is playing well, if they're playing well,

03:27and they're at the garden in the biggies tournament, buckle up. The Johnnies.

03:33All right. Give me your college plays for tonight. And then if there's time left,

03:37I'll tell you who these number one and twos are in this Linardi bracket right now.

03:44I'm going to first go up with Houston minus 18.5 versus Utah. Houston team has played really well,

03:49won winners of 10 games in a row. They are 6-4 against spread, but they had a close

03:54one a couple of days ago. Calvin Samson will have that team ready to go. Give me Houston

04:00minus 18.5. Next, I'm going to go with Kansas minus 5.5. This is a team that's underachieved,

04:07but Farrell, they have four losses. All four losses of Creighton, who isn't ranked,

04:11I think maybe they're ranked now, are all to rank teams. Jamie Dixon's team. This is a down

04:16year. Kansas has got to get going. Give me Kansas minus 5.5. Next, really good game,

04:21Ole Miss, Texas A&M. Chris Pierce is one of the best in the country. He has a bang a little bit

04:27of juice. We're at minus 156, but I'm on him. Give me Ole Miss to get the win at home. And then

04:33give me the Northwest Wildcats minus 5.5 over Indiana. We just talked about it,

04:42Farrell. I don't know where their next win is. Yeah, Northwestern, though, I saw them brick

04:50in three throws against Michigan in overtime over the weekend. They were atrocious at the line.

04:57I think Indiana's got a shot in that game tonight. So, Auburn's the number one in the South.

05:01South, Iowa State the number one in the West, Duke the number one in the East, and Alabama

05:08the number one in the Midwest, and that is in Indianapolis, that region.

05:15Alabama's been winning some big games lately.

05:17They're starting to kick people's asses.

05:18Yeah, they really are.

05:21And listen, the big thing that Alabama did is, when you think about them, Pharrell, is

05:24their defensive play.

05:25Number one, they're one of the fastest teams in the country.

05:29Number two, they're one of the most efficient teams in the country.

05:31They're fast, and they're efficient.

05:33That means they're dangerous.

05:34Now, I don't agree with Nate Oates' three or key philosophy, no pull-up J's, you know

05:39how we've talked about that in the past, but I thought getting Cliff Omori at the center

05:45position and moving Nelson to the four to protect him really is going to help them out.

05:50I think that that team should be in play to win the national title.

05:56So the Johnnies are at the Garden tonight, right?

05:59That's a good game for them at MSG, no doubt, right?

06:02Yeah, the Johnnies are at home tonight versus Xavier.

06:06That should be a good matchup.

06:07I like the Johnnies minus the points.

06:09It's just, Patino's got his guys.

06:12And the key thing with St. John's, who is now nationally ranked again, I mean, I don't

06:17even know what the last time we said the word St. John's nationally ranked.

06:20It's the play, sorry, I'm starting to get off of you, Qadari Richmond.

06:25Qadari's starting to play.

06:28And when Qadari plays, he's one of the five best players in the Big East.

06:32And shout out to Rick Patino for being honest.

06:35If they had the money, he'd still be at Seton Hall.

06:38That's the problem with college basketball.

06:39They didn't have the money, the kid left.

06:42So the Young Guns back at San Diego State, they're laying a 14-burger tonight in Colorado

06:48Springs against Air Force.

06:49Meanwhile, Dudger's team's been so average at 11-5, they can't handle that kind of wood,

06:54can they?

06:55They're going to rely on their defense.

06:57That's why, minus 127-1, I would rather just take the Air Force team total under.
