One of the main staples of the wizarding world isn't just given to you at the start of the game. You gotta work for it! And here's what you'll have to do in order to get yourself a broom and take flight across Hogwarts.

00:00One of the first things everyone will want to do in Hogwarts Legacy is get on a broom

00:09and fly around. However, it's not something you get straight away. There's no shortcut

00:14or cheat and the quickest way to get your very own broom is to play through the main

00:18Hogwarts Legacy campaign. After you've unlocked the spell Expelliarmus, which is taught to

00:28you by completing Professor Heckat's assignment 2, you'll receive a main quest target to

00:32go to flying class with Madame Kogawa. After you've completed your first flying lesson,

00:46head into Hogsmeade using either Blue Flames or by walking it. Check your map of Hogsmeade

00:51and find Sprint Witch's Sporting Needs. Set the waypoint and make your way there, since

00:56it's the easiest place to buy your first broomstick. Before you can fly with your broom,

01:02you'll have to complete another mission called Flight Test. Travel back to Hogwarts via Blue

01:06Flames after purchasing your broom and then head to the Quidditch pitch to talk to Imelda

01:11Reyes. After a conversation, she challenges you to beat her high score in a race around

01:16the castle. After you complete the Flight Test mission, you should be able to fly whenever

01:33you're in open space by using L1 to bring your gear menu up and pressing Circle or B

01:38to jump on your broom. Sure, you can't fly your broomstick through or over Hogsmeade,

01:42but with views like these, taking the long route around it won't be such a bad thing.
