00:33Tessa Mutina Armor Set, The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine.

00:45Our first entry comes from the widely adored expansion, Blood and Wine.

00:49The Tessa Mutina Armor is a unique heavy armor set, with an amazing set bonus.

00:55When wearing three pieces, you regain health after every kill.

01:00This bonus gets better the more armor pieces Geralt wears.

01:03So what makes it hard to unlock?

01:05Well, if you know what you're looking for, it's a breeze.

01:09You can find it in the Vampire Lair during the quest Le Cage a Feu.

01:13If you complete the quest before finding it, then you'll have to restart or reload a save

01:18to find it.

01:19It's completely missable.

01:21You have to dig deep during the quest to acquire it.

01:24Alfieri Gear, The Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone.

01:36Now for one of the coolest looking gear sets in the game, coming from the first expansion,

01:41Hearts of Stone.

01:43To obtain it, you'll have to complete the quest From Alfieri's Distant Shores, requiring

01:48you to hunt for each component's respective diagram.

01:51There are 10 pieces of Alfieri gear in total, including horse gear, swords, a crossbow,

01:57and an entire armor set.

01:59Wearing 8 of them will also net you the achievement, I wore Alfieri before it was cool.

02:04The set's bonuses are some of the best in the game.

02:08Everything gives you giant sign boosts, and the swords give you a hefty increase in critical

02:13hit chance and damage.

02:15If you're a completionist, crafting this set is a must.

02:25Raven's Armor, The Witcher.

02:32This entry is actually three separate armor sets, but only one is obtainable per playthrough.

02:38The Raven's Armor was crafted by the gnomes of Mount Carbon, with additional flair provided

02:43by the elves.

02:45According to lore, the armor sings a victory song for whoever wears it.

02:49In The Witcher, Geralt can reforge this iconic armor in the final chapter.

02:54The specific variation depends on whether you choose the order, the elves, or stay neutral.

03:00Each variety has separate bonuses.

03:02The order version, buffing vitality, the elven, endurance, and the neutral, a bit of both.

03:08It can be made after completing a fairly complex quest simply titled, Armor.

03:13You can also import it into the sequel, where it looks even cooler.

03:18When will it be ready?

03:20Hmm, tempering, carburizing, forging, power runes, elven songs plus finishes, hmm, tomorrow.

03:29Viper, Venomous Sword.

03:31The Witcher 3, Hearts of Stone.

03:37The Viper school gear is one of the many Witcher school gears Geralt can unlock through diagrams.

03:43Unfortunately, its silver sword can't be obtained like this.

03:47The diagram is only acquired through console commands or mods, and the sword itself is

03:53unlocked in the main quest, Whosoever a Man Seweth.

03:56If you miss it here, it's gone for good.

03:59Also, you have to side with Olgierd von Everitt and fight Gontyr Odin.

04:04The sword will be trapped in a stone protected by a specter, so even if you side with Olgierd,

04:11it's still easily missable.

04:17The Kingslayer's Outfit, The Witcher 2, Assassins of Kings.

04:31The second Witcher title can be pretty punishing on normal difficulty, but on dark mode, it's

04:37a whole new beast.

04:39Enemy power isn't the only thing it changes.

04:42It also adds three new armor sets to the first three chapters.

04:46Chapter 3's armor is the Kingslayer's Outfit, and it's by far the toughest of the three.

04:52It comes in six parts and costs at least 7,900 Aurons to craft, not including material prices.

05:00It's got the highest armor rating, which is more than needed in dark mode, along with

05:05a variety of amazing effects, making it the game's best armor.

05:16Hen Gaith Armor, The Witcher 3, Blood and Wine.

05:24Now our list takes us back to the beautiful lands of Toussaint, where you can miss yet

05:28another armor set.

05:31This time, it's the Hen Gaith Armor.

05:33During the main quest, What Lies Unseen, you can find the full set in the Unseen Elder's

05:38Lair.

05:39It's got the same bonuses as the Tessa Mutina set.

05:42You get health for kills, and this goes up the more pieces you equip.

05:46It looks fairly similar, too, but with a glossy red paint job.

05:51Overall, it's better than its black counterpart, since it's got a higher armor value.

05:56Also, to unlock it, you have to spend some quality time with Regis, everyone's favorite

06:01vampire in the series.

06:09Grandmaster Legendary Ursine Armor, The Witcher 3, Blood and Wine.

06:20Every set of Grandmaster Witcher school gear has a mighty mean crafting time.

06:25You have to collect diagrams for every set piece, then upgrade diagrams for every tier

06:31until they eventually reach Grandmaster level.

06:34Then, in New Game Plus, you can do it all again to get Legendary Grandmaster gear.

06:40Out of every Witcher set, we believe the Ursine, or bear school armor, is the hardest to get.

06:46A lot of its components are found in Skellig, one of the higher level zones, as opposed

06:51to the other school gears, which you can start crafting from Velen.

06:55Its heavy weight makes it arguably the best armor for a tank build.

07:05Moonblade and Kvulture, The Witcher.

07:08The majority of items in this game could be worthy additions to this list.

07:12The mechanics are so dated, it can feel like an absolute slogfest of a game.

07:17There's a total of ten trophy monsters spread throughout all five chapters.

07:22If you kill them all and take their heads to the Royal Huntsman, you can unlock either

07:27Moonblade or Kvulture.

07:29They're the highest damage swords available.

07:32Out of the two, Moonblade is the harder unlock.

07:35This is because you can get Kvulture as a reward for the side quest, Won't Hurt a Bit,

07:40or instead, the Mud and Velvet quest.

07:43A Moonblade, on the other hand, is completely locked behind the head collection.

07:48Also, both can be imported into the sequel.

07:51The other is Elven Silver.

07:54Both valuable.

07:56Both deadly.

07:57Give me the silver sword.

07:58All yours.

08:01Erendite, The Witcher series.

08:04Kneel, Geralt of Rivia, White Wolf.

08:10Quite a few weapons appear in all three games, especially since so many can be imported into

08:15The Witcher 2.

08:17Out of all of these, Erendite is undoubtedly the most iconic.

08:21In game one, you have to complete the quest, The Paths of Destiny, where the Lady of the

08:26Lake will knight Geralt and grant him the weapon.

08:29You can also get it in the sequel from importing a Save-a-Cross, and it's lost during the prologue,

08:34Dragonscraft.

08:35So, if you want to wield it in two, you'll have to cheat.

08:39In three, it's found during the Blood and Wine side quest, There Can Be Only One, where

08:44the Lady of the Lake grants it to him for a final time.
