High tea

High tea took on a literal meaning as Visit London hosted a series of rooftop tea drinking events to celebrate London’s tradition of taking afternoon tea.

Visit London brought high tea to the roof of Westminster Abbey to celebrate the great British tradition whilst Camden took an unconventional tea break as Didz, the bassist of Dirty Pretty Things, and Josh Hubbard, the lead singer of The Paddingtons, took to the roof of the Roundhouse. The thriving London tea party scene enjoyed a cuppa on top of the IPC building and a worker at London’s iconic Monument looked out from the Orb whilst enjoying a very literal high tea.

‘High Tea’ is part of the ongoing Only In London campaign to highlight the unique experiences London has to offer.
