00:00Following the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,

00:04Department of Budget and Management Secretary Amena Pangandaman approved the release of more than P30 billion in funds

00:12to help the regular pension of military and uniformed personnel or MUP for the first quarter of 2025.

00:20According to Secretary Pangandaman, pensions are an important aid for retired MUP and their families.

00:28That's why they were able to sign the release of funds quickly after completing the necessary documents.

00:34More than P30.4 billion will be collected from the Pension and Gratuity Fund

00:40under Republic Act No. 12116 or Fiscal Year 2025 General Appropriations Act.
