00:00In the Department of Budget and Management, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has already filed a case

00:05for additional incentives for public teachers.

00:08DepEd and the teachers' association are completely grateful for this.

00:12Kenneth Paciente is in the center of the news.

00:17The Department of Budget and Management is now filing a case for the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:22to increase the service recognition incentive of public school teachers to 20,000 pesos.

00:28According to Budget Secretary Amina Pangandaman,

00:31she has already ordered the remaining branches of the DBM to study

00:35on how to implement this directive of the President.

00:38In addition to Pangandaman,

00:40the teachers know of their hard work and sacrifice,

00:43especially when it comes to guiding the children.

00:46DepEd is also grateful for this directive of the President,

00:50who only shows his appreciation

00:52that education in the country will surely improve,

00:55as well as the well-being of the teachers.

00:57According to DepEd, this is also a good gift,

01:00especially now that it is Christmas and the New Year,

01:03for teachers and DepEd personnel.

01:05The Department of Budget and Management is sure that they will help the DBM

01:08to implement the increased SRI.

01:12The Teachers' Dignity Coalition also agreed to increase the SRI of teachers.

01:16However, they still hope that they will be able to achieve their long-awaited increase in salary,

01:22that they will be able to increase the commitment of teachers to their duties.

01:26As part of the TDC,

01:28P15,000 will be added to the salary and other benefits.
