00:00A chemical factory in the Sungai Kapar Indah industrial area in Kelang caught fire on Monday
00:07afternoon, triggering several explosions.
00:10Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Assistant Director, Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar,
00:15confirmed that the department received reports of the incident around 4.32pm.
00:21The fire is believed to have been caused by a gas leak, and the HAZMAT team is working
00:25to identify the chemicals responsible for the explosions.
00:30No fatalities have been reported thus far.
00:32Ahmad Mukhlis added that investigations are ongoing, and the fire department is awaiting
00:38additional information from the factory owner.
