00:00Of course, Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys are no more.

00:04And Micah Parsons, who hosts his own podcast known as The Edge,

00:08was talking about Dallas's decision to part ways with McCarthy earlier this week

00:13and said, quote, I'm obviously very sad because of the relationships we had with Coach McCarthy

00:19and everything he's done for our program. Went on to further call it devastating.

00:26Tough blow for Micah Parsons,

00:27and it did seem to be arrested somehow, some way.

00:30Mike McCarthy did have the favor of his locker room,

00:34despite not being able to reach a new deal with Jerry Jones.

00:38Yeah, and also, it's a Dallas Cowboys way. Like, hey,

00:40I got a head coach, doesn't win anything, love to have him around here.

00:42But also, if you have a country club type atmosphere, employees don't like that.

00:46Imagine you work for a company that's losing money,

00:48but you still get a paycheck and your boss is real friendly to you.

00:51He gets fired. The next day that comes, he goes, we're really changing this up.

00:54We're going to work hard. Players slash employees don't actually like that.

00:57So Micah Parsons is like, man, I had the perfect life.

01:00I'm about to ring the cash register here and have a country club type scenario down there.

01:04Now I might get a coach in here who might be able to put us to the test

01:07and have extra OTAs and work us a little bit longer.

01:10Yeah, I wouldn't like that either. So Micah Parsons,

01:12worry about winning as opposed to being devastated

01:14that a bum head coach actually got fired from your bum team.
