00:03like your Canucks and the Penguins?

00:07Well, the Canucks, I'll start off with the Canucks.

00:09The Canucks, number one,

00:11they're not as good as they were last year.

00:13I think the Canucks kind of overachieved

00:15a little bit last year.

00:16I'm not into like these expected goals

00:19and some of these modern stats, Scott.

00:20I think we'll probably agree on this.

00:22Some of this stuff is just over the top, right?

00:24But if you want to get into it,

00:26I saw like a breakdown of the Vancouver Canucks.

00:29Like they're supposed to score like 3.9 goals a game.

00:33That's what they're projected to score.

00:35And they're kind of scoring, you know, 3.5 or whatever.

00:39Long story short, they kind of exceeded expectations.

00:42They played above their head last year.

00:44They're not the same team, Scott.

00:46The thing with the Canucks though,

00:48they were in a bad spot last night, just point blank.

00:50So I'm not gonna, you know what I mean?

00:52I'm not telling you, I just told you

00:54they're not as good as they were last year.

00:56There's talk of a trade coming up with JT Miller.

01:00There was a little bit of a locker room,

01:03locker room drama with the Canucks.

01:06It's been blown way out of proportion by the hockey media

01:09because that's what they do.

01:11But ultimately, Scott, they were in a bad spot.

01:13Look, the Canucks were in Toronto on Saturday night.

01:16They were in Carolina.

01:17They were in Washington.

01:19It was the back end of a road trip.

01:20I tweeted out before the game last night.

01:22This is a bad spot for the Vancouver Canucks.

01:24Now they got lit up and they got humiliated.

01:28The Jets, you know, but the Jets are really good.

01:30The Canucks will be fine, Scott.

01:32They're a playoff team.

01:34You know, they're gonna tweak some things as we go right now.

01:37They're gonna be getting back home.

01:38Like I said, they've been on the road for a while.

01:40Now they host the Kings.

01:42They got the Oilers coming to town.

01:43They got the Sabres.

01:44So it's a big homestand coming up for the Canucks.
