00:00Two ships were deployed by the Philippine Coast Guard to closely monitor the China's monster ship

00:06which is in the middle of the sea of Zambales.

00:08The government has once again declared that it will not allow it to remain in our territory.

00:21It is alarming, but the government will not allow the China Coast Guard's monster ship

00:27to continue to remain in the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines.

00:31The National Task Force West Philippine Sea said that this new invasion of China will not be tolerated.

00:38The NTFWPS insisted that the monster ship should be removed from our EEZ.

00:45We can clearly state that the intimidation tactics are not successful

00:53and that we remain resolved to support our Filipino fishermen

00:58and we will not stop challenging their presence within Philippine waters.

01:04The monster ship, 77 nautical miles from the northern part of Capones Island in Zambales, was last seen.

01:12It was first detected more than a week ago.

01:15It reached 54 nautical miles.

01:19Two Philippine Coast Guard ships were able to guard the BRP Cabrera Silang

01:24and the returning BRP Teresa Magbanwa

01:27which was immediately repaired by the overheating auxiliary engine.

01:36The PCG also conducted aerial patrols

01:39where their islanders were able to fly to the location of the Chinese ship.

01:44The monster ship was not only guarded but also attacked by Philippine assets.

01:50As far as the Coast Guard is concerned, our main role right now

01:55is to make sure that the China Coast Guard vessel don't come close off the coast of Zambales.

02:01So that is the mission objective of 9701 and 8301.

02:07When asked if the presence of the monster ship near Zambales

02:11is a way to divert attention from Scarborough Shoal or Bajo de Macinloc,

02:15NTF-WPS replied that it is considered one of the red lines or non-negotiables

02:21if there will be a reclamation in Bajo de Macinloc

02:25where it is also continuously guarded.

02:28The AFP, the Philippine Navy, has appropriate contingency plans in place

02:32in the event that this will be violated.

02:34Non-negotiable, that they will do any structure or reclamation on Bajo de Macinloc.

02:40The government does not rule out the possibility of asking for help from fellow countrymen

02:46in the face of a new threat to WPS.

02:50We're keeping our options open.

02:52Now the ball is in the court of the PRC.

02:55We already requested very clearly and made a demand for them to withdraw the monster ship.

03:02So let's see what their response will be.

03:04We hope that the PRC will not push the envelope
