00:21only a few will be seen in this museum in Sarat Central School in Ilocos Norte.
00:26The school has organized and planned the museum to help the youth,
00:33especially in the study of the history of the Philippines.
00:36The museum serves as an experiential learning
00:44where not only the artifacts are seen by the children,
00:48but through their visit to the museum,
00:52they can learn about the cultural tradition and history of a school and community.
01:01One of the reasons why the museum is being renovated
01:04is to encourage other schools to renovate their museums
01:09and to fully benefit the students.
01:12The SCS is planning to add various artifacts
01:16such as the old coins used in the national anthem.
01:20Some of the items displayed in the museum were donated to the school.

01:30because they are very generous when we went out
01:34to ask for the artifacts that will be displayed in our museum.
01:40The Sarat Central School Museum was established in 1998.
01:44This year, it was made the best school museum in the entire Philippines.
01:48The SCS was built on the top of a hill
01:51where the Padsan River and Watts Tower stood
01:55during the Spanish Occupation.
