00:00Very interesting question. I have not gained weight specifically for any role. I am very
00:12open to the idea of it because I feel as an actor, the way you feel, some people wear
00:18clothes like that or hair and makeup is like that. Whatever your way is, it is best. If
00:24somebody feels that you know physically altering yourself is going to help the character, then
00:29why not? But I am also sure that the actors whose work I have seen, be it in Bollywood
00:36or Hollywood, I am sure that they take the right guidance. They don't just sit and decide
00:43on their own. They seek professional help and they are very particular about it. So
00:48please know that actors are not just cooking this up by themselves. They go to professionals
00:53and they figure the entire plan out, whether it be about weight gain or subsequently weight
00:59loss. So I think that's a very important thing for people to understand that it's done under
01:04professional supervision.
01:05There was a time in between, I don't know if it is still there or not, but I think most
01:16importantly after COVID, everyone has just realized that what is the importance of being
01:22fit and not just physically fit, mentally fit as well. So if aesthetics is your driving
01:29force, then fine. As long as you are taking the right steps and doing the right things
01:33and not following some fad or you know crash diet per se, then I think whatever is your
01:40driving force should be okay.
01:41For now, I am not currently shooting for any project. So right now I start all my classes.
01:53So I go to the gym in the morning or go to play sports on alternate days, which is either
02:01boxing or recently I have started paddle ball. And apart from this, I go to my dance classes
02:08So I think that more or less covers my fitness classes.
02:13And along with that, I have started something new for myself. My mom gives me turmeric water
02:19in the morning. So right after waking up, I drink turmeric water before drinking water.
02:31Maybe. What will happen? Maybe, yeah.
02:38I don't really have protein shakes. I've consumed my protein through my foods. I'm a big fan
02:46of green smoothies actually. I have a very nice secret recipe of a green smoothie. Maybe
02:51someday I'll share it with you all.
02:55It doesn't have much in it. I have this one. It's not a smoothie. It's a juice. I put palak
03:01in it. I put pineapple in it and I put apple in it.
03:08There is no specific brand. Whatever makes me feel comfortable. Because a lot of my workouts
03:16include high intensity, be it boxing or then even paddle or even weight training. But yeah,
03:24I like something which I can wear for all three. Or for my dance class. So nothing specific.
03:29On gym rule, I always break. I don't think I break any rules. I'm actually one of those
03:40people who goes to the gym and you won't even realize I'm there. Now I talk to someone.
03:46I pick up my weights. I keep them back. So I'm almost like I'm not there. Because I'm
03:54very in the moment. I'm very present with my workouts. I don't like having conversation
03:59during my workouts. I'm only speaking to say my trainer. So I don't think I break any rules.
04:04Maybe I reach the gym a little late. That's one thing.
04:12I have an exercise which makes me very happy. So the day I don't feel like working out and
04:19I reach the gym, my trainer makes me do deadlifts. Because I absolutely love deadlifts.
04:26So as soon as I do deadlifts, I feel I become very very happy.
04:35I would just like to say that if you are thinking about getting fit or are in mid process journey
04:42of fitness, just keep at it. That's the first step. Please understand that health is very very
04:49important. Health is wealth like they say. And the times that we live in, all of us have
04:54survived a pandemic. So understand the importance of your health. Motivate people around you
04:59as well. Be it your parents, your friends, whoever is around you, tell them.
05:04And follow the right kind of advice. Don't try to do something that can be detrimental
05:11to your health and then it will be the opposite. So take the right steps. Don't be in a hurry.
05:16And yeah, I think like I said earlier, I would like to sum it up by saying health is wealth.
05:28I am about to release another project. I don't know the date. But it's called Mehta Boys
05:35which has been directed by Bama Nirani Sir. And I am very excited about it.
