00:00As a nation unified in securing what is rightfully and legally ours, we do not and will not dignify
00:09these scare tactics by backing down.
00:13We do not waver or coerce in the face of intimidation, but lately we were surprised about the increasing
00:24aggression being shown by the People's Republic of China in deploying the monster ship.
00:31And the monster ship is not close to Plano de Macindo, it's getting closer also to the
00:37Philippines, to the Philippine coastline.
00:38As mentioned by Commodore J. Tariella, it's 77 nautical miles from the coast of Zambales.
00:47So that is alarming.
00:49The presence of the monster ship in our waters is illegal and inconsistent with the exercise
00:58of freedom of navigation and innocent passage.
01:03It is clearly a provocative act.
01:07It is also a clear attempt to intimidate our fishermen and deprive them of their legitimate
01:14livelihood.
01:15It doesn't really carry out very aggressive action, but its mere presence is already concerning.
