00:08This is in line with the goal of improving the quality of life of the country,
00:12in terms of health and nutrition of the youth, particularly in terms of poverty.
00:18Because of this, the DSWD will launch the first 1,000 Days of Life Conditional Cash Grant
00:26under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4-PIS.
00:30The program aims to help women who are pregnant or have a child who is no more than two years old.
00:39The program also gave the Department of Social Welfare and Development the importance
00:42of lowering the rate of poverty in the country.
00:48Our President is very conscious that we need to lower the rate of stunting.
00:54That is why the President became aggressive and raised the whole-of-government approach
00:59that not only DOH but also the DSWD should help.
