00:05to the Negros Occidental this Tuesday to assess the condition of the families affected by the volcano eruption.
00:13His Undersecretaries and Regional Directors of DSWD Western and Central Visayas
00:19visited the evacuees in the affected areas of the Negros Occidental.
00:24First, Secretary Gatchalian assured that more than 1.4 million family food packs
00:30were pre-positioned in the warehouses in Western and Central Visayas
00:34as well as in the nearby areas that may be affected by the eruption of the volcano.
00:39Meanwhile, three clusters were activated under the Disaster Response and Early Recovery Pillar
00:46of DSWD Western Visayas.
00:49These are the Internally Displaced Persons Protection, Food and Non-Food Items,
00:54and Camp Coordination and Camp Management.
00:57According to DSWD 6 Regional Director Arwin Raso,
01:00they want the affected families to know that the agency is with them during these times.
01:07The agency will provide family food packs and non-food items
01:11in addition to the current resources of local government units.
01:16The Quick Response Team or QRT of the agency has also been activated
01:20for a quick and systematic response operation to the affected families.
