00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development requested that there should be 100,000 family food packs in Negros Island.

00:07This is also in line with the possible eruption of the volcano.

00:11The family food packs will be distributed to the residents affected by the volcano in Western Visayas and Central Visayas.

00:19The V-Works first predicted on Saturday that the volcano could erupt due to the rise of magma and gas.

00:26On December 9, 2024, the volcano Calaon erupted, causing a 3,000-meter-high eruption.

00:35This was one of the reasons why the V-Works raised the volcano's alert level to level 3.
