00:09is helping the DSWD Centers and Residential Care Facilities.

00:14According to the DSWD, seven residential care facilities

00:18have organized simple celebration and gift-giving activities

00:23to make almost 800 of our countrymen happy.

00:26Meanwhile, more than 5,000 residents of almost 70 residential care facilities

00:32across the country also celebrated Christmas Day.

00:36Young people enjoyed various games and performances.

00:42In some facilities, our grandmothers had a Christmas celebration.

00:48According to DSWD Spokesperson Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao,

00:53their agency still wants our countrymen to celebrate

00:59the holiday season despite their challenges in life.
