During the closing ceremony of the International Anti-Fascist World Festival in Caracas, Venezuela, President Nicolás Maduro awarded the Bicentennial Order "Victory of Ayacucho Battle" to the sanctioned by the United States and Europe. teleSUR

00:09and of all the people of Venezuela to condecorate the institutional leaders, civil leaders,

00:20political leaders, and military leaders and the leaders from the police that yesterday

00:27the U.S. imperialism, the decadent imperialists of the European Union and the U.S. colony

00:36Canada, they sanctioned criminally.

00:40I will go forward with this movement, anti-fascist movement, to give them the Bicentennial Order

00:49of Ayacucho.

00:50Please, let's go forth.

00:54In opposition of the condecorations to the patriots that were sanctioned by the Department

01:02of the U.S., the European Union, and the U.K. and government, the citizen Nicolás Maduro

01:09Moros imposes precedent of Venezuela for the mandate 2025-2031, imposes an order of the

01:23Bicentennial Battle of Ayacucho.

03:01We see how the Venezuelan president is given a medal and come decorating the people who

03:22are sanctioned by the U.S. government, was imposed sanctions and aid of parts of the

03:32Venezuelan government.

03:48As we can see, in this ceremony, in the festival, they are calling the persons by their name

04:17and the Venezuelan president gives them a medal which represents their commitment with

04:25the Venezuelan government and the Venezuelan people and the sovereignty of the country,

04:31rejecting these unilateral sanctions that the U.S. government imposed on these people.

04:47But something that we can remark is about this festival that is exactly about it and

04:56the fascist festival which is taking place in Caracas.

05:02This is with more than 2,000 national and international guests, with political leaders,

05:12young people, workers and farmers with delegation from more than 100 countries around the world.

05:21We could see that there were the flags of different countries of Latin America, of Africa.

05:30Of course, this is taking part in the activities as far as the massacre made by the government

05:36and two parties and movements in the country and to different nations around the world

05:41with the aim of building a new network of concrete actions to confront fascism in the world.

06:12Now they are giving the medals to international armed forces.

06:19They are taking their hats to get the medal on.

06:23This is taking part, of course, not only about the sanctions but for their commitment to

06:30the Venezuelan government, to the Venezuelan people, the sovereignty of the Venezuelan

06:36people by these people that is being commemorated today with these medals.

06:44Let's remember that it was announced that this Sunday, January the 12th, the working

06:52tables of the World Communication Congress will begin within the framework of the anti-fascist

06:58festival in Caracas.

07:02And that during this date, it is suspected that a presence will be able to find themselves

07:08in the debate on the current world scenario.

07:32There we can see that it is something that it's not just a few people, there are a lot

07:44of people committed with the Venezuelan sovereignty and the Venezuelan people that are giving

07:52them this award because their commitment, their support, their will to protect the Venezuelan

08:00people, the Venezuelan sovereignty and the Venezuelan democracy, to express that they

08:05are here to protect the homeland.

08:09We can see that these medals are not just for a few people, there is for a lot of people

08:15that are committed with the Venezuelan people and with the Venezuelan government.

08:23This is the president putting the medal to the people alive.

08:31There's been three rounds of people, no, four rounds of people already, and there are more

08:38people that are committed with the sovereignty and democracy of Venezuela, not just being

08:44an award.

08:45Let's remember that this is just of the sovereignty, the democracy for all the Venezuelan people

08:52and are all committed with this cause.

09:01We see the Venezuelan president giving these awards with these medals to the people during

09:09the anti-fascist festival.

09:12This is the bicentennial victory of the Ayacucho battle to those sanctioned by the U.S. and

09:20Europe too.

09:22But only the U.S. is.

09:41As we can see, the bicentennial order of the victory of the Ayacucho battle is in the purpose

09:49of those sanctioned by the U.S. and Europe.

09:52Let's remember that yesterday during the surrendering ceremony of President Nicolás Maduro, last

09:59January the 10th, eight people were sanctioned, eight more people actually were sanctioned

10:07by the United States and Europe too, because not only the United States sanctioned the

10:15Venezuelan country, but also Europe too.

10:20This is a ceremony that's taking part on the anti-fascist festival here in Caracas, Venezuela.

10:33Let's remember that this festival was from January the 9th to today, January the 11th.

10:48That were sanctioned and were also condecorated to the judges and prosecutors and the military

10:55chiefs and the police chiefs are my recognition and the recognition of a country, because

11:04thanks to your bravery and that you haven't conceded to the international threats, Venezuela

11:12has strong institutions and is at peace.

11:15Congratulations to all of you.

11:17I hope you win new sanctions.
