Hollywood star Jamie Lee Curtis told a live Q&A event in New York that California’s wildfire-stricken Pacific Palisades now looks like Gaza.

00:13The entire city of the Pacific Palisades is gone, you guys.

00:17I mean literally my neighborhood, gone.

00:20My house tonight is still there, but I live in a different canyon.

00:25But the entire Pacific Palisades looks like, you know, unfortunately Gaza,

00:32or one of these war-torn countries where awful things have happened.

00:36And there are fires now breaking out everywhere.

00:38So it feels totally bizarre to be talking about a movie,

00:42and yet, you know, it's a piece of art.

00:45Art will save us no matter what.
