00:00I'm Kishen, 23 years old.
00:10I'm a student at UTHM, FSKTM Faculty,
00:14Faculty of Science, Computer and Technology, Maklumat.
00:17Drone-powered stock counting system is a system where we use a drone
00:21to do cycle count or stock counting in a warehouse with pallets
00:26which has always been done manually, traditionally,
00:30where there will be a count sheet, there will be MHE.
00:33MHE is more known as material handling equipment.
00:38These are the resources we need to do the basic cycle counting.
00:42But by using this drone-powered stock counting system,
00:45we no longer need to use MHP or human resources,
00:49human resources.
00:50In fact, this drone will replace the human resources
00:55that have been used in cycle counting.
00:58And this stock counting process is a process that we call repeated.
01:03So, this repeated process can be automated.
01:06So, my system has automated the cycle counting
01:10that has been done manually.
01:14When I found out that my son had the opportunity to choose
01:18a drone for Innovodone,
01:20I felt that what he did was a good suggestion
01:24because so far, in my experience,
01:27we have been doing stock counting manually.
01:30Every time we have to use the restruct, go up,
01:33carry one by one, have to write by hand,
01:36there are problems with wrong writing, wrong counting.
01:40So, I've been through all this for a long time.
01:43So, when he said the idea was to do stock counting using a drone,
01:46I supported him.
01:47And my company also supported him
01:50to do testing on his drone problems here.
01:55So, this system is still in the prototype phase.
01:58And this prototype has many phases as well.
02:01This project is in the proof of concept phase.
02:03So, proof of concept is for the system.
02:05So, the core functionality is to scan the QR code on the pallet
02:10where I will print the QR code from this drone-powered stock counting system
02:15and paste it on each pallet.
02:17And the QR code will contain data such as batch number, part number and quantity.
02:21And the quantity will then be compared with the WMS system
02:25to see if there is a variance.
02:28Variance means the difference between the quantity on the pallet
02:32in the QR code and also the quantity in the WMS.
02:35So, after making the comparison,
02:37a discrepancy report in the form of an Excel sheet will be issued.
02:40So, my hope for Innovodone this second season is
02:43I hope all the innovations and products that will be created at Innovodone
02:49will get accreditation.
02:51Because I think Innovodone is a platform where
02:54every innovation and every product will be appreciated by the judges.
