00:00There are so many active situations here between these two neighborhoods, fire approaching both
00:04of these neighborhoods. I've got to tell you, in some cases you can already see where the brush
00:12clearance behind some of these homes has already spared the homes. If the brush clearance wasn't
00:18there. So the Eaton fire is now estimated to be 13,690 acres. It's grown since our morning press
00:26conference because the fire is making a run towards the historic Mount Wilson area. We are
00:34still at zero percent containment, but we now have a better estimation of the number of fire
00:41personnel assigned to the incident. We're now at 1,527 personnel assigned and like this morning,
00:51additional mutual aid resources to continue to arrive to assist in the firefight.
00:58This morning we did have a firefighter suffer a significant injury in a fall. That firefighter
01:05is resting comfortably at an area hospital. He's in stable condition and he is expected to make a
01:11full recovery. We now have a confirmation that we have a potential for over four to five thousand
01:20structures damaged or destroyed. I have not had any reports that the LA County Fire Department
01:27has suffered low water pressure or ran out of water here at this fire. We're in close coordination
01:37with the Department of Public Works. We speak to them often and I haven't been advised of any
01:43issues that we've had. I know that there is a boil water directive for the Eaton fire
01:50because of the high amount of ash that's in the water. But for firefighting water,
01:56I haven't heard that we ran out of water or that we had low water pressure.
