00:22him and Jerry sitting down, deciding what's going to happen, what do you make of where

00:26we are currently with McCarthy?

00:27I thought it was hilarious that Jerry said on Sunday, go talk.

00:33I want people who want to be here.

00:35And then when it's time to go talk, no talk, can't go.

00:38And I, did you think they were going to let him interview?

00:43I wasn't sure.

00:44And look, it's an indication that they, not that they necessarily want to keep him, but

00:48I think they want to be able to negotiate with him without McCarthy knowing what's behind

00:54door number two.

00:55If you can't talk to the Bears or anyone else for that matter, they still got exclusive

01:01negotiating ability.

01:03They can try to get him for the best possible contract without him knowing.

01:08And there's still ways calls can be made and winks and nods.

01:11And that happens sometimes.

01:13Some teams will do it.

01:14Some teams won't, but it preserves the Cowboys ability to have his full focus and they have

01:21full leverage as they try to work this out.

01:24But look, whatever happens, the one thing I'm certain of, they're going to leak it and

01:29or announce it during the Eagles playoff.

01:32They did it last time with Garrett.

01:37They leaked it during the Seahawks Eagles playoff game five years ago.
