00:05Well, yes, always thanking the Dominican people for their support in the county.

00:09They have always been with us, they have always defended our problems, and now more.

00:13Now the president of the city of Villarela has given us more support than ever before.

00:17And we thank him very, very much for his support.

00:19Your expectations for tomorrow, on the 10th, when the seizure of possession is supposed to be?

00:23Well, let's hope. We are civilians and we have weapons, we have nothing.

00:28We are aware of the seizure of possession of our president and everything is going well.

00:32That's what we expect. We have faith that it will happen that way.

00:36And do you think it could happen when the electoral body of your country gave the current president as a winner?

00:42Yes, of course, but we have the documents, we have the material, some things that we had never had.

00:47We have the evidence that we won the elections.

00:50And the evidence has gone visiting all the countries where the president has gone to and we have delivered them.

00:54What would be the call you would make to the Venezuelans who are there,

00:58and who may feel affected by what has happened in this election?

01:05Well, the call is very concerned about their situation there.

01:08We are calm here, but we don't know how they are going to react.

01:12Let's hope they don't take up arms against the people and that everything is in peace.

01:16That's what we expect, really.

01:17Because we are civilians, we are civilians and we have no weapons, we have nothing.

01:21We don't want civil war, we want nothing.

01:23We want the elections to be fulfilled.

01:25Could you highlight something about the Venezuelan diaspora in the country during Luis Abinader's government?

01:33Well, yes, yes, the support has been total, both in the past government and in this government.

01:37We have had total support.

01:39But now the difference is that now the problem is that we didn't understand it.

01:43Now every Dominican understands our problem and knows that we really had the right.

01:48What about the women?

01:52How does this affect you in a particular way, the women and you, the Dominican Republic, giving support to the world?

02:01Well, as a woman, I tell you that it affects us all equally.

02:08There is no distinction of sex here, because we all had to emigrate.

02:12Families separated.

02:16Then in the case of this town that helped us to concentrate our families.

02:23But today the difference is not between women and men.

02:28We were all affected and somehow today we are all united as a family, as a people,

02:35so that tomorrow everything happens as it should be, in peace and in a civilized way.

02:40How long have you been in the country and where do you come from?

02:43I have been here for 12 years and I live here in Santo Domingo.
