00:08Territories Pardons Board to make public its deliberations on Najib Razak's pardon applications.

00:15She gave reporters a clipped response saying,

00:31She was assigned the Federal Territories portfolio in December 2023.

00:37Yesterday, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's senior political secretary, Shamsul Iskandar Akin,

00:43urged the government to publicize the minutes of the Pardons Board meeting

00:47on January 29th last year, where he decided to halve Najib's jail sentence.

00:52Shamsul said this would end speculation over the house arrest addendum granted to the former

00:59Prime Minister. On Monday, Najib obtained leave to compel the government to place him

01:05under house arrest following Al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah's decree.
