00:00Senator Sherwin Gatchalian confirmed the funding for the Philippine Military Academy, or PMA,

00:05and the Philippine National Police Academy, or PNPA, are part of the education sector's budget.

00:11According to the lawmaker, the PMA offers a Bachelor of Science in military education,

00:16while the PNPA offers a Bachelor of Science in public safety.

00:20He also explained any institution that offers a Bachelor of Science degree

00:24is considered a tertiary education institution.

00:27Although these institutions are not under the Commission on Higher Education, or CHED,

00:32they are still part of the education sector.
