Police confirm man killed in shooting at Johor Baru restaurant

A 40-year-old man was shot and killed at a restaurant in Taman Setia Indah, Johor Bahru on Wednesday (Jan 8).   Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat said the incident occurred at 12pm and a resident alerted authorities through the MERS 999 emergency hotline. 00:35and police are checking CCTV footage from nearby premises.

00:40ACP Raub said police are still investigating the number of bullets fired.

00:46He also said the post-mortem report is expected to be ready on Thursday.
