00:00When a man was caught by a dog in Caloocan, he was caught by CCTV.

00:06We have an exclusive report from Isaiah Mirapuentes.

00:12This is how many times a 52-year-old man was beaten by a dog in Barangay 124, Zone 11, Caloocan City.

00:21Listen to the video of how a dog was caught and injured while being beaten one after another.

00:31Especially the belt buckle hit the dog based on the CCTV footage of the barangay.

00:37At 4.33 p.m. on Saturday, a man came out with a broom.

00:42You can also see in the video that he was approached by a dog but the man was far away.

00:47A few minutes later, the man came back to the scene and approached the dog again.

00:51And that's where he was beaten by the dog.

00:53The man even tried to stop a tricycle driver but he couldn't.

00:58PTV News exclusively talked to the staff of the owner of the dog who witnessed the incident.

01:03He tied me up and called me saying,

01:07Didn't you tie this dog up?

01:10Then he suddenly bit me.

01:14He bit me.

01:15The dog was very angry with him.

01:17They even argued that they tied the dog up but it was missing.

01:21They have been taking care of the dog for 5 years and it didn't bite.

01:25The man who was beaten by the dog refused to face the camera.

01:31Ma'am, is this the owner of the dog that went viral?

01:35Why?

01:36Can we interview him for his side?

01:39Since we filed a complaint in the barangay,

01:45the lawyer advised us not to communicate with him.

01:51Be a responsible owner.

01:53We both have responsibilities when it comes to taking care of animals.

01:57And I believe that taking care of animals is a lifelong responsibility.

02:03As you can see, the dog was bitten but it is still active and tied up inside the owner's cage.

02:08The barangay is currently investigating the incident.
