00:23Ladies and gentlemen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. will hold a full cabinet meeting on Tuesday, January 7.
00:33According to the Presidential Communications Office, Secretary Cesar Chavez,
00:37he will discuss the major projects, such as big ticket programs and projects directed by the Office of Official Development Assistance.
00:47As part of the preparations, President Marcos, Jr. will meet with Executive Secretary Lucas Beresamin
00:53to review and finish the agenda for the meeting.
00:58He hopes to lay out the main priorities of the administration in the upcoming meeting.
01:03This meeting will be the subject of a series of high-level discussions
01:09that will further advance the main projects of the administration
01:12while the term of our President is approaching.
01:17Aside from that, the traditional bandunor will be held in Malacanang on January 11.
01:22These events will show the dedication of the administration to their development agenda
01:28and diplomatic relations in the beginning of the new year.
01:31If we remember, we have already discussed the legacy projects of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
01:38For example, the establishment of legacy specialty hospitals, Tugon,
01:42to take care of the health of Filipinos.
01:46Here, the Congress will fund legacy specialty hospitals such as heart, cancer, and kidney centers
01:52to provide free medical treatment to our countrymen without hospital expenses.
01:57Aside from this, legacy housing for the poor will be funded through the national budget
02:02to meet the target of having a lot of affordable houses for the poorest of the population
02:07and the legacy for food self-sufficiency for the poor,
02:11as long as they are able to afford food.
