00:00I'm Rachel Howard, just some of the issues we've been having on our new build estate.
00:10I've been in my home coming up to three and a half years, we'll be four years in May.
00:15One of the major issues we've got is the collapsed retaining wall slash bank behind us.
00:22It first happened anything between six and 12 months ago, a temporary measure was put
00:27into place with lots of sandbags, and it unfortunately was just left.
00:31We have been in touch with the local council and MP, but unfortunately because we are a
00:35privately owned state, although we do still pay council tax, nobody's taking responsibility.
00:44The temporary measure that was put in place has now fully collapsed, so the road is officially
00:48closed.
00:49That means roughly 12 houses now do not have access.
00:53My name is Rhys Alexander, I live in Cravey Heath, and this is the situation that we've
00:57been dealing with since March.
00:59This wall actually broke in March and all the land came down, and over the last nine
01:03months it's just got progressively worse.
01:05And all we really want is just for someone to fix it because, you know, people want to
01:09get to their houses, park on their drives, feel safe waking up in the morning knowing
01:13that there's not going to be any sort of land flashing through the house.
