00:04with a 2-1 win over the Bruins last night. Bruins had started to getting

00:08things going a little bit as well. They do drop one to the Rangers, 2-1. Nice

00:13win for them. We'll see if the Rangers get going. Now Shestercan's gonna be out.

00:16Quick played great last night. If you remember last year when Quick had to

00:21carry the male for a little bit. Rangers played some pretty good hockey. So let's

00:24see if they could do that again now with Shestercan out and Quick going to be

00:28in. Wild beat the Capitals last night 4-3 in the shootout. I still every time I

00:33say shootout it's weird. The shootout stinks. They got to find a new way to

00:36get that over with. But the Wilds still right behind Winnipeg in the Central

00:41Division trying to keep pace with them. Leafs beat the Islanders last night 2-1.

00:45I mentioned the Rangers got out of the basement. They're actually tied with the

00:48Islanders in the basement in the Metro. And here's one for you for you Powerplay

00:53fans out there. The Islanders have allowed 15 Powerplay goals in their last

00:5931 kills. That's about 50%. They've allowed 15 Powerplay goals in their last

01:0631 kills. And I think it's been a month and a half since they've even scored a

01:09Powerplay goal themselves. So keep that in mind. Some special teams numbers for

01:14the Islanders who lose a couple games to the Leafs here over this course of this

01:18week. I believe they lost to them on New Year's Eve. Then they lose to them right

01:21after the New Year. Stars beat the Sens 4-2 last night. Avs beat the Sabres 6-5

01:26in overtime. Second time this season the Sabres blew an enormous lead to

01:29Colorado. This time the Avalanche tied the game with under a minute to go. They

01:35win the game in the overtime session. Nice job by the Sabres who wasted a

01:40hat-trick from Jason Zucker in the loss there. Ducks beat the Jets 4-3 in

01:44overtime. Ducks, out of all the really bad teams in the league, the Ducks have

01:50kind of become like the most spunky of all those really bad teams in the league.

01:55So you have to watch the Ducks on a daily basis. They took down the Jets 4-3

01:59in overtime. Utah beat Calgary last night. Utah's first win in Calgary. Remember

02:04this goes back to when they were Arizona too. 10 games. First time they finally got

02:08it done. Vegas beat the Flyers 5-2. Vegas has opened up a six-point lead in the

02:12Pacific Division. Now remember last year they couldn't hold. They had a big lead

02:16in the Pacific. They couldn't hold it. As Edmonton came charging January,

02:21February, March and they took the Pacific from from Vegas. Will Vegas be able to

02:26hold what's a six-point lead now as we start the new year? We shall see. Canucks

02:30beat Seattle 4-3 in the shootout last night. They got to play tonight back to

02:34back for them. And the Sharks beat Tampa 2-1. Your heavy lumber loss of the

02:40night if you had the Lightning who were I believe minus 275 around that area. So

02:46if you had the Sharks as a big pooch plus two and a quarter plus 225 at the

02:52tank late night. Nice job by the Lightning out there against San Jose.
