00:00The preparation for the walk of thanksgiving of Jesus Nazareno has been completed.

00:04This is the story of Denise Osorio.

00:08More than 60,000 devotees were invited to the Basilica and Dambana of Jesus Nazareno,

00:13or better known as Quiapo Church, the whole night for the Thanksgiving walk.

00:18The procession started at 12 o'clock in the evening from the church

00:22and it went around some of the streets surrounding it.

00:26According to the technical advisor of the Quiapo Church, Alex Erasga,

00:30they were really preparing for the walk, whether it would rain or not.

00:33We decided whether it would rain or not,

00:37we will continue the procession, according to our parish priest's decision.

00:41We will continue the procession, as long as it doesn't rain.

00:45And fortunately for us, the rain didn't pour down,

00:51so we were able to receive the rain.

00:54Erasga also gave a blessing and a thank-you message

00:59to the whole of Maycapal for this Thanksgiving procession

01:02for everyone who attended the whole year.

01:05To all the blessings we received,

01:07to all the prayers that our Lord God has given us,

01:11to those who believe and those who ask for help.

01:16After the procession, the preparation went back inside the Quiapo Church

01:20and it will wait here for the next procession

01:23that will be held on January 9, 2025.
