00:02This is an update on the current weather.

00:04Three weather systems are still affecting our country.

00:08The first one is the shear line,

00:10which is the cold wind from the north coast

00:13and the hot wind from the Pacific Ocean.

00:16This shear line will continue to be weak

00:19until the rainy season in Cagayan and in Mayapayaw.

00:23This is also the time when there is a part of Batanes

00:26where they are affected by the northeast monsoon

00:29so the sky will be cloudy and there will be rain.

00:33The Intertropical Convergence Zone

00:35is still present in Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

00:39This Intertropical Convergence Zone

00:41will still bring scattered rains,

00:43thunderstorms and landslides

00:45in the eastern and central Visayas,

00:47as well as in Albay, Sorsogon and Catanduanes.

00:51Dinagat Islands will also experience scattered rains

00:55brought by the Intertropical Convergence Zone.

00:58In the northern part of Visayas and Mindanao,

01:01we still expect thunderstorms

01:03and landslides this afternoon until later tonight

01:06brought by the ITZZ.

01:08Meanwhile, here in Metro Manila

04:03and 24 to 29 degrees in Tacloban City.
