00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. did not stop the celebration of the 100th and 28th anniversary of the government of Gato Serizal.

00:14In his message, the President said that the change in the country begins with ourselves.

00:30President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremony at the Rizal Monument in Luneta Park this Monday morning.

00:39This is the 100th and 28th anniversary of the government of Gato Serizal.

00:46The theme of this year's commemoration is Rizal sa Bagong Pilipinas, Buhay at Aral Aming Nilandasa.

00:53In his message, the President reminded us that Dr. Jose Rizal's legacy will not be forgiven.

01:00His visions will live on for generations to come.

01:04The President also encouraged the Filipinos to return and refresh the history

01:10and raise the importance of Rizal.

01:14This includes nationalism, dedication to the truth, and continued efforts for the well-being of our fellow Filipinos.

01:23Everyone should have the strength of mind to be the bearer of change

01:29and to hold on to the belief that there is a future for the Philippines.

01:34In the end, the Executive Board called for unity in the goal of achieving a brighter and stronger new Philippines.
