00:00At the Christmas lighting event in Malacanang, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. gave the message that despite the trials,
00:08every Filipino should still celebrate Christmas.
00:13He also reminded us of the continuous help to our countrymen who were victims of the typhoons.
00:20Here is the report.
00:24It is a joyful time for all Filipinos.
00:27But as we celebrate, all I'd like is to ask you to hold the thought for all those people
00:35who up to now are trying to recover from the effects of the six typhoons that we suffered in 23 days.
00:45Many of them are still in shelters. Many of them are still in need.
00:52And all of these disasters like I just came and saw some victims of fires.
00:59All of these people, let's just keep them in mind and do what Filipinos do.
01:03Let's help each other.
01:05The Christmas message of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. to the Filipinos,
01:11especially to the victims of the typhoons.
01:14Last night, President Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos,
01:19were the first in the Christmas Tree Lighting,
01:22where the President also recognized the courage of the Filipinos
01:26who do not give up and continue to rise this upcoming Christmas.
01:31My Christmas wish is that despite everything,
01:38that every Filipino should feel somehow Christmas.
01:45Because after all, no matter how many typhoons they throw at us,
01:49no matter how many problems are thrown at us,
01:52there is nothing that will quench the Christmas spirit in the Filipino heart.
01:57And every child, man, woman, Filipino, you will not be able to remove that from the Philippines.
02:05Also included in the program is the recognition of those who shared in the past three years
02:09of one star, one smile.

02:39Also included is Puso ng Pasko, which is an hour-long ballet by Alice Reyes Dance Performance.
02:45Each performance is exciting, accompanied by the music of Master Ryan Kayabyab.
02:51My experience here is really, really good.
02:54So, in the ballet, I really liked it because my sister also dances,
03:02and also I felt the spirit of Christmas.
