00:00A prominent businessman, his daughter, his son-in-law and two employees on Monday pleaded

00:08not guilty to charges of causing hurt and threatening an insurance manager in Malacca.

00:13The accused are 62-year-old Mohamed Fazil Shafi and 32-year-olds Nur Amalina Mohamed

00:19Fazil and Amran Azmi, while the two employees are 37-year-old Azeen Abrahim and 28-year-old

00:27Mohamed Azrul Shafiq Rosman.

00:30They allegedly committed the offences against the 30-year-old victim at an eatery in Taman

00:35Kota Laksamana on November 14.

00:38Nur Amalina was additionally charged at the Ayer Kero Magistrates' Court with using

00:43offensive words.

00:45The accused lawyer sought a gag order on the case, but the court rejected their request.

00:50The court then set bail at RM5,500 for Mohamed Fazil and Azeen.

00:56On the other hand, Nur Amalina's bail was set at RM3,300, while Amran and Mohamed Azrul

01:02Shafiq were each granted RM2,500 bail.

01:07The case will be re-mentioned on January 23.
