00:00The Government of Quezon and the Department of Public Works and Highways

00:04continued their road clearing operations after landslides caused by heavy rains due to shear lines.

00:11Cecil Maloles of PIA Calabarzon has breaking news.

00:17The Government of Quezon continued its work on the communities affected by floods and landslides

00:24due to heavy rains since December 24.

00:28The Government of Quezon provided assistance to the Quezon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office

00:34in the Department of Public Works and Highways for road clearing operations in the affected areas.

00:41According to the report, heavy rains in a large part of Quezon

00:45were caused by a shear line that also affected Calabarzon, Central Luzon, Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.

00:55In the town of Real, Mauban-Tignoan Road was closed for all types of vehicles

01:01while in the town of Sampaloc, Lucena-Tayabas-Lukban-Sampaloc-Mauban-Port Road was closed

01:09due to road slip and fallen debris.

01:12In the Magsaysay-Infanta Barangay, landslides also occurred which resulted in the roads not being able to pass.

01:20In the Delapas Barangay, Buenavista-Lopez Road, half of the road was damaged

01:26and in the Diversion Road, northbound of Lopez-Quezon,

01:30several trees fell that collided with a lane of the road due to continuous rain.

01:37In Real, Quezon, water also overflowed the river.

01:41In the Pandan Barangay, which is affected by Real, Mauban Road,

01:46Quezon PDRRMO continues to remind the public to remain hopeful

01:53for the latest updates in line with the current situation

01:57and to stay in a safe area if necessary.
