Severe snowstorms continue to wreak havoc on the Balkans region. Tens of thousands of homes lost access to power, highways and railroad services experience major disruptions.

00:10Authorities say more than 200,000 homes were left without power and many even lost access

00:25Local officials are trying to help clear the snow, but locals say it's not enough.

00:30Many of them decided they needed to take matters into their own hands.

00:34And in Croatia, similar issues plagued some parts of the country.
