00:29in now, but to wake up this morning and come to the beach on Christmas Day is something
00:33quite special.
00:34Sydney's ocean beaches, famed for golden sand and clean water, draw tourists from around
00:40the globe. Christmas Day is also one of the busiest days of the year for volunteer lifeguards
00:46who patrol Bondi Beach's shores and waves, ensuring the safety of swimmers along the
00:51roughly one-kilometre stretch of beach.
