00:16This Christmas, people came early to Quiapo Church

00:22to glorify the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

00:26At 5 o'clock in the early morning,

00:27the Masses of the Basilica and Shrine of Jesus Nazareno

00:32or better known as Quiapo Church began.

00:34Every Mass is a solemn and sacred celebration

00:38and there is no other star this day.

00:40According to Joseph Barsica of Ijos de Nazareno,

00:43the parishioners are continuously coming even if the weather is bad.

00:47However, the number of people is very low now.

00:51In the past, the inside of the church is full,

00:53but now, there is no line outside.

00:57Earlier, during the first Mass,

00:58I noticed that some of them came from the airport,

01:01some came from other countries.

01:05During the second Mass, they came from their families.

01:16Audrey, it is noteworthy that almost half of the parishioners

01:20came this year compared to the previous year,

01:23and that is because of the bad weather.

01:26However, the officials of Quiapo Church are expecting

01:30that more people will come here to worship and to attend Mass

01:34this whole day.

01:35For those who will worship here in Quiapo Church,

01:40the schedule of the Mass is the same as usual for the day Mass.

01:44We will bring an umbrella and raincoats.

01:47For those who brought tickets,

01:49make sure that the children are fully covered

01:52because we are trying to prevent the children from getting sick,
