00:08Our goal when we started was simple. In September we pledged to raise £300,000 to build a safe house for refuge
00:16to offer survivors of domestic abuse, their families and their pets a place to stay.
00:22Because of your generosity and help we have been able to go past that and we have now enough funds to build a second house.
00:34And I'm so pleased that we have done that with your help.
00:39Two homes are being built offering sanctuary for the survivors of domestic abuse.
00:46The houses are being built by Persimmon right now with refuge able to move families in by springtime.
00:55And it's all because of the extraordinary generosity of our readers, our supporters, from philanthropists and people who wanted to help.

01:12But our readers, the small donations which came in, have made that triggering difference.
