00:00The country's junior weightlifters showed off their skills in the 2024 Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championship in Doha, Qatar.

00:09This was led by Filipino lifter Aldrin Colonia after winning the first gold medal of the Philippines in his weight division

00:18in the Youth Men's minus 49kg class with a total weight of 213kg.

00:27Colonia also recorded 95kg in his second attempt in snatch and 118kg in his first attempt in clean and jerk to increase the competition.

00:38In addition, Prince Kiel De Los Santos also won the silver medal in Men's 55kg Youth Division and bronze in both weight class juniors

00:53and recorded 110kg in snatch and 132kg in clean and jerk.

00:58Meanwhile, Pinay Weightlifter Angeline Colonia also won the silver medal in Women's 45kg Junior category with a total weight of 157kg.

01:09Althea Bacaro also won the silver medal in Women's 40kg Youth category with a total weight of 120kg.

01:19Also, several Pinay weightlifters like Rosalinda Fautino, who won the bronze medal in Women's minus 49kg Youth

01:29and Alexandra Diaz in Women's minus 45kg Youth category.
