00:00The series of earthquakes in the Ilocos Sur ocean was recorded by PHIVOLCS a few days ago.

00:07In the released update by PHIVOLCS, the offshore quakes in Ilocos Sur reached 40 inches since December 17.

00:17Aside from the four earthquakes from this morning, the magnitude was strong from 3.1 to 3.8.

00:24But since December 17, there were also recorded magnitude 5 earthquakes.

00:28According to PHIVOLCS, the quakes in Ilocos Sur were the result of a movement in Manila Trench.

00:34PHIVOLCS explained that the series of quakes in Ilocos Sur could disappear in the next few days or could be the cause of the tsunami.
